    1990s

All Weather Windows establishes a strong brand presence in the Prairie Provinces and sets their goal to become Canada’s largest private window manufacturer. The ownership group expands to include Bill Scott, Roger Hutlet and Robert Gilles. A branch on the West Coast opens in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1991. To facilitate this growth, the decision was made to consolidate all manufacturing and head office staff under one roof.  The result of this bold vision, a new 238,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, opened in Edmonton to much fanfare in January of 1998.  The opening of this plant heralded an era of streamlined production and efficient manufacturing.

    1980s

All Weather Windows earns a solid reputation for quality products and excellent customer service, and makes tremendous inroads with building supply dealers and contractors. In 1980 a larger 35,000 square foot manufacturing facility is acquired to accommodate rapid growth. The first branch office opens in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1982 followed by Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1984. In 1985, after just 7 years of operations, the company now had 50 employees and moved to a new head office in Edmonton. By 1988, sales increase tenfold since the first year of operations and in that same year a Calgary branch office opens, solidifying the company’s status as the premier window and door supplier in the Alberta market.

    1970s

All Weather Windows is founded in 1978 by Harry Buhler, Gord Wiebe and Henry Banman in Edmonton. Their vision is to build a company based on honesty, integrity and hard work with a “customer first” philosophy. After just two years, the company outgrows their first 10,000 square foot manufacturing facility and relocates to a larger 35,000 square foot plant to accommodate the increasing sales.
