Features

Casements and awnings are the most energy efficient operating windows because of the tight seal they offer when closed.

Casement windows open from the side to direct a fresh breeze into your home.

The thick Hemlock sash on our casement and awning windows is built to accommodate an optional triple glazed sealed unit for improved energy efficiency. Non-thermal conductive vinyl liners protect both the jamb under the sash and the sash under the sealed unit from condensation.

Our multipoint locking system is standard on WeatherGard casements for added security and convenience.

Wood SDLs

SDLs (simulated Divided Lites) are installed on the exterior and interior of the glass to simulate the look of divided panes of glass. Individually divided panes of glass reduce energy efficiency by creating multiple seams and joints for every pane. With the simulated design the integrity of the glass is not compromised, thus maintaining energy efficiency. Our wood SDLs can be stained and painted to match your interior colours.

Aluminum SDLs

Aluminum SDLs are for exterior use on all WeatherGard windows and are available in our 7 different Standard aluminum clad colours or 52 Premium Exterior Finishes.

Encore Folding Hardware (Standard)

	Encore White or Bronze folding hardware and multipoint locking systems are standard with WeatherGard casements and awnings, all other colours are optional.  The Encore series features a sleek contemporary design, and the folding handle gently reduces interference with curtains and blinds.
