All Weather Windows is founded on June 5th, 1978 by Harry Buhler in Edmonton, AB. Employees include Gord Wiebe, General Sales Manager and Henry Banman, Production Manager.

1980

A 35,000 square foot manufacturing facility is acquired to accommodate rapid growth.

1981

Gord Wiebe and Henry Banman join the partnership and become co-owners.

1982

All Weather Windows begins manufacturing our own wood windows.

1982

Winnipeg, Manitoba branch opens its doors.

1984

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan branch opens its doors.

1985

Seven years later, All Weather Windows has 50 employees and moves across Edmonton to a new head office.

1988

The Calgary, Alberta branch opens its doors, solidifying the company's status as Alberta's premier window and door supplier.

1990

With a strong brand presence in the Prairies, All Weather Windows sets a goal to become Canada's largest privately owned window manufacturer.

1991

All Weather Windows become early leaders in the adoption and manufacturing of uPVC extruded windows with an investment in Protek Windows.

Vancouver, British Columbia branch opens its doors.

1992

All Weather Windows begins manufacturing uPVC Windows.

1993

All Weather Windows introduces our first patio door: The Everest Patio Door.

1995

Bill Scott, Roger Hutlet, Peter Nguyen and Robert Gilles join the partnership team.

1994

Over 200 people employed.

1998

All Weather Windows continues to expand, opening a 238,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Edmonton, Alberta. The opening of this plant heralds an era of streamlined production and efficient manufacturing.

2001

Newmarket, Ontario branch opens.

2001

An ERP system is implemented, which supports the doubling of sales over the next 10 years.

2002

Employment grows to 700.

2004

More branches open their doors, including: Regina, Red Deer and Kelowna.

2006

Richard Scott joins the partnership team.

A second manufacturing facility opens in Mississauga, Ontario adding over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing capacity.

Lethbridge, Alberta branch opens its doors.

2008

All Weather Windows enters the commercial glass business by acquiring Maxim Glass in Edmonton, which becomes the All Weather Windows COMMERCIAL Division.

Gord Wiebe is appointed CEO and Richard Scott assumes the role of President & COO.
