All Weather Windows has worked with Habitat for Humanity Canada to provide safe, decent and affordable homes to families in need for the past 15 years.

Home.

What started with a single donation of surplus product from All Weather Windows has grown into a thriving partnership involving thousands of windows and doors and countless volunteer man hours at manufacturing plants and on job sites at home and abroad.

Since 2001, All Weather Windows has partnered with Habitat For Humanity to help make the dream of home ownership a reality for thousands of Canadian families in need. One of our four pillars of giving is shelter and our partnership is vital to providing homeownership and a brighter future for Canadian families.

A strong partnership.

In December of 2001, after realizing a surplus of windows and doors and not wanting them to end up in a landfill, All Weather Windows shipped a trailer load of product to the Habitat For Humanity ReStore in Edmonton.

This donation would be the start of a partnership that continues to this day. Soon after, All Weather achieved platinum sponsor status with Habitat For Humanity, which means annual contributions exceed $1 million.

By 2015, All Weather had become Habitat For Humanity Canada’s largest corporate sponsor.

We also contribute regularly to other special Habitat projects like Edmonton’s Neufeld Landing. Located in Edmonton’s Rutherford Neighbourhood, Neufeld Landing will provide safe and affordable shelter for 64 families. It is Habitat’s largest ever development in Canada.

Once a year, All Weather Windows employees take part in what has become known as a Blitz Build. On a Saturday, employees volunteer their time to come into the plant and build windows and doors for Habitat homes across the country.

The last four Blitz Builds have produced windows and doors for more than 150 homes in Canada.

Beyond our borders.

Our efforts for Habitat For Humanity reach into other parts of the world. All Weather Windows employs people from a total of 53 countries and our work with Habitat For Humanity allows us to honour them.

In 2011 and 2012, we joined former United States President Jimmy Carter for a 2-year Habitat for Humanity build in Haiti to rebuild more than 200 homes destroyed in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake that rocked the country. In 2013, we raised $60,000 for Habitat For Humanity in the Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan.

"We believe every single person, regardless of who they are or where they live, deserves somewhere decent to live and a place to call home." - Henry Banman, All Weather Windows

An even brighter future.

Habitat has been the right choice for All Weather Windows’ long-term vision for charitable giving. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished for people in need and we look forward to helping even more families find safe and affordable housing in the years to come.
