PROCESS

Unsure of what to expect during your home renovation? Let us break down the steps for you.

  1. Your order information will be processed by your All Weather Windows sales representative.
  2. Our customer service professional will send your order information to one of our certified installation specialists.
  3. Within two weeks, our installation specialist will contact you to schedule a final, comprehensive measurement of your window or door selections.
  4. The installation specialist will submit the final measurements to the Customer Solution Centre for processing, ordering and production scheduling, which will take approximately three to four weeks to complete.
  5. Once we finalize your production dates, we will call you to confirm your installation date. This will happen approximately two weeks prior to the actual installation date. At that time you will be reminded to remove your blinds and any other items that might block the window area, along with clearing a four foot space around the window, inside and outside, so that installers can easily access the area. You will also need to cover items that you do not want to get dusty, since this type of renovation does create dust and debris that can spread throughout the house.
  6. Installation will typically begin the morning of the scheduled day. Installation personnel require payment of the balance of your contract upon completion of the job. Should the homeowner plan on being away from home at the time of job completion, the balance owing or signed certificate must be given to the contractor upon arrival.

We strive to make your window and door renovation an enjoyable and stress-free experience. Like any renovation, there’s always the possibility for unforeseen circumstances that can’t be predicted when the salesperson or installer first visits your home. Some examples may include: rotten sills inside the wall that will need to be replaced or electrical equipment in the walls that may need to be moved. These issues may involve additional charges and will be discussed with you should such a situation arise.
